How to achieve SDGs by JIYU NPO
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (the 2030 Agenda) is a set of international development goals from 2016 to 2030, which was adopted by
the UN Sustainable Development Summit held in September 2015 building on the success of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
The 2030 Agenda listed “Sustainable Development Goals” consisting of
17 goals and 169 targets in order to eradicate poverty and realize a sustainable world. The SDGs are universal goals applicable, not only to developing countries but also developed countries, and pledge “Leave no one behind.” through the implementation process.
The POSTMAN project, which collects disused school items from all over Japan and delivers to children in developing countries, can contribute to achieving 7 goals of the 17 SDGs.
■Who are the POSTMAN?
The people who support various activities of NPO JIYU.
We are welcome you to participate in our activity to take a school satchel and the stationeries which are gathered from all over Japan directly to the overseas children in need.
Interchange + sightseeing with delivery + children of the stationery → It senses the field bodily by carrying direct support supplies by intention of duty oneself of POSTMAN, and it finds a problem, and it is a merit that can make use for the next activity.

Non Profit Organization JIYU is to support breakaway and it from poverty by the education support with an experience-based model and is the group for the purpose of the contribution to society activity to be impressed, and to share.

Activity purpose
It is a social contribution activity that we share such precious experience by donating school goods to children in need and helping them from poverty through our sustainable educational support.
Activity philosophy
Fundamental Support
We support to remove the potential poverty factors for the purpose of improving literacy rate and academic ability through educational support.
Sustainable Support
In order to continue "sustainable educational support" rather than "temporary one", we believe that it is very important to "continue reasonable support activities" and to keep balance between own jobs and our activities as like the essence quoted from "Rongo(Analects of Confucius) and Soroban(abacus)"written by Shibusawa Eiichi.
Direct Support
We will visit the local area as much as we can and carry out donation to hand over directly to children in need. In addition, we carefully select counter-partners in advance and strive to build strong relationships.
Reporting Obligation
We will publicly disclose the specific recipients of scholarships and school supplies and the results of our support.
Learn together
We will ‘learn together’ with all people involved our activities and create the opportunity of meeting that will bring synergy between us.
